Christine Mutua, Kenya

Studies: Kenya Northwest University, South Africa; Class of 2008.

Focus of Studies: Christine teaches in the missions department at Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST). Her studies focus on missiological education in Kenya. Teaching at one of the best training schools for missionaries in Africa, her studies and her work go hand in hand is preparing more workers for the harvest in Africa and beyond.

About Christine: Christine is continuing to work for NEGST while she completes her studies during short stays in South Africa. She has had a difficult year with increasing demands at home, school, and at NEGST where she teaches. She prays for time to work on her studies in the midst of increasing teaching responsibilities and raising young children.

Family: Christine is married to Daniel Muvengi (also a CISF supported scholar). They have three children— Hope, 9 years old; Shalom, 6 years old; Fadhili, 2 years old.

Prayer Requests: Christine requests prayer that Hope and Shalom will easily adjust to their new classes. She also asks for prayer that she will finish her studies with grace, strength, and focus. Finally, she seeks prayer for moral support from NEGST.
