Daniel Muvengi, Kenya

Studies: Northwest University, South Africa; Class of 2011. 

Focus of Studies: As a national leader for World Vision, Daniel trains pastors and teachers across Africa, lifting up a vision for the church to engage in holistic ministry as an agent of transformation for the continent of Africa.

About Daniel: Daniel works for World Vision in Kenya and does considerable training for pastors and Christian workers throughout Africa. He has just completed his first year of coursework, will soon take his exams and then begin his research phase. Both he and his wife are supported by CISF; they will both begin their dissertations soon.

Family: Daniel is married to Christine Muvengi (also a CISF supported scholar). They have three children—Hope, 9 years old; Shalom, 6 years old; Fadhili, 2 years old.

Prayer Requests: Daniel needs prayer for wisdom and God’s grace as he needs to raise further support for his studies. Additionally, he requests prayer for both himself and Christine, as they are both doing research studies simultaneously.
