Focus of Studies: Eraste's dissertation focuses on the topic of reconciliation and its importance for Rwanda and the rest of Africa.

About Eraste: Eraste continues to make good progress on his dissertation, even as he finds a challenge in balancing a ministry mindset with the more secular approach he finds at the university. He is excited for the opportunity to return to his sending institution, West African Theological Seminary, to teach a course in Old Testament Theology.

Family: Eraste and his wife, Rose, have seven children—Esdras Tuyishime, 26 years old; Josias Unesha, 26 years old; John Wesley Iyokwizerwa, 25 years old; Fidele Niyidukunda, 23 years old; Benjamin Namahoro, 21 years old; Beni-Theophile Ikulina, 18 years old; Nadia Umuneza, 15 years old.

Prayer Requests: Eraste and his family praise God for the miraculous healing of his spine abnormality. He asks for continued prayers for the health of his family, for the provision of resources, and for the provision of school fees for the children.
