Focus of Studies: Hailu’s research is in the field of Systematic Theology, with a focus on ethics. Ethiopia has an immense number of public holidays, placing it among the world’s lowest economies for number of productive work days. Hailu is building a biblical case for work in an effort to combat what he sees as the distorted work ethic in Ethiopia. About Hailu: Hailu serves as the president of the Meseret Kristos Bible College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has just finished his first year in the US at Trinity. He is very encouraged by his studies and feels this studies will reap great benefits as he later leads the seminary in Ethiopia. Family: Hailu and his wife, Yeshihareg Sergawe Hailegiorgis, have four children—Abenezer, 22 years old; Salem, 18 years old; Natnael, 13 years old; Daniel, 11 years old. Prayer Requests: Hailu asks for prayer for his daughter who remained in Ethiopia while her three brothers were able to join their parents in the US.
