Effective Scholar-Leader return is key and our challenge...

We only sponsor scholars who sign a covenant to return to their own country. As part of that commitment they promise to repay their scholarship if they do not return. To ensure effective re-entry, CISF is beginning to:

  • Help fund the return and re-settlement of CISF families to their homeland.
  • Implement a four-way covenant involving the scholar, the sending institution, the educational institution and CISF. This involves regular interaction and an extended return trip half-way through their studies for the scholar to teach, work, and maintain relationships.
